The accessibility to Arenal Beach depends upon your ability. For the independent wheelchair user, there are ramps down to the beach that lead to wooden gangways accessible for wheelchair users. Not perfect for independent wheelchair users but for the adventurous among you, you can access the beach and almost reach the sea without requiring support. These ramps for wheelchair users are never perfect but they can be accessible.

You can truly spend the whole day at Arenal Beach. There are bicycle hire shops for children and an abundance of restaurants and shops in a small compact area.
For an independent wheelchair user, it is an ideal location for free access to nearly everything there. Fantastic!
